No – once you’re in, you’ll be with us for the whole day. Please make sure you bring everything you need with you before entering the site.

The same regulations apply at Summer Fest as the rest of the country. You can smoke in open air but not inside big tops and tents – including the VIP tent and bar marquees.

There are no cash machines on the site, but there are cash machines around Weston-super-Mare that you can use before entry into the festival.

The bag allowed into the site must be carried, and only one per person, and not on wheels or wheeled on. One wheeled event trolley will be permitted per group (not individual). Any bags inside the trolley will act towards the bag allowance for the group (i.e. 3 people in group and 3 bags in trolley this would be the full allowance and any additional carried bags would not be permitted). Security and management have final say.

Due to licensing restrictions you are not permitted to bring alcohol on site. Searches will be conducted on the front gate – please do not be offended it is for the safety of all guests. Any alcohol or illegal substances will be confiscated if found.

Unfortunately, no food is permitted into the festival, with the exception of baby food and sealed water bottles. There is a huge selection of food vendors to suit all tastes!

The festival provides accessible toilets and a viewing platform with limited capacity for guests who are mobility impaired. Please note that, due to the nature of the site, some areas may have uneven ground.

All children under 18 must attend with an adult. Please keep children under supervision at all times. Under 4’s are free and no ticket is required.

If you are bringing an infant to the event please be mindful of the following information:

– Buggies will not be permitted in the golden circle or dance area. Whilst the space is large a buggy will present additional trip risks to other guests and also risk to the child.

– Buggies will be allowed in the VIP area (not golden circle) and the main seating.

– There will be a buggy viewing area located on the parade next to the accessibility viewing area. This will be near the ramped entrance onto the beach.

– Whilst security will be around, please DO NOT leave any child or infant unattended, or ask security to mind them as we cannot do this.

– Baby harnesses – it is the parent’s responsibility to ensure the safety of their child; harnesses may pose additional risks due to crowds and also if the parent wants to dance and the child’s head is not properly supported.

– Space – the event dance area is likely to be busy and busier in certain areas such as the stage front and edge of golden circle. There are quieter areas around the site, in the seating area and the welfare area on the lawns.

– Noise – please ensure you child/infant has correct noise protection.

– Welfare – there are a number of family toilet provisions around the site and welfare area, if you need to feed them.
